The 11th Longest Dinner Table

September 30th – 5-10pm

Evergreen Park at Evergreen Walk (by the Paper Store)

Longest Dinner Table

2021 Golden Fork Winner

The 11th Longest Dinner Table!

Please gather your friends and fill a table or two or three for the South Windsor Public Education Fund’s premier fundraiser. (Please do not feel the pressure to fill a table, you may register as an individual or with a small group too!!) The Longest Dinner Table is an adult event held at Evergreen Walk Park!  It is a fun night out! We provide tables, chairs and tablecloths. You should bring your own food and drink. It is $25/person. We will have a DJ, Silent Auction and 50/50 Raffle.

We also recognize the 2022 and 2023 recipients of Teacher and Staff of the year.

You may register online or via mail. We highly recommend noting a “table captain” on your registration if you are attending with a group. This way, we will know which table or table group to place you. Just pick a person from your group as the captain and ask everyone to note that on your registration. You only need one table captain per group, even if you know you will have multiple tables.

Reminder, this event is $25 a person—no matter the size of your group. Everyone attending should pay the registration fee.

There is no rain date.  If we need to cancel the event, your registration fee will be considered a donation to the SWPEF, there will be no refunds. We will try to do the auction online in the event of a cancellation.

Are you competitive, creative or just simply into decorating? If so, you may take home a ribbon for one of the following categories:

  • Most Creative
  • Most Community Spirit
  • Most Elegant
  • Longest Table (who brings the biggest group) – win the coveted Golden Knife!
  • Best Overall–win the coveted Golden Fork!!

Decorating a table is not a requirement—it is optional.  You may just come and enjoy the night.

Reminder:  the SWPEF is a nonpartisan committee therefore, table themes should not include local or national politics.

If you are not aware of SWPEF–we provide grants to teachers and staff at ALL of the schools in SW (K-12). We have provided over $215,000 in grant money that directly benefits the students in South Windsor.  We hope to see you on September 30th!!!!
